My name is Sarah Wurst and I am a recent graduate from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA.  Much to my advisors’ chagrin, I was a triple major at the University in Fine Art, English and Theology.  I was employed by the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) which allowed me to have a great deal of experience in Community Organizing and breaking the cycles of poverty.  Next year I will be living in St. Xavier, Montana and working at the Pretty Eagle Catholic Academy as a Jesuit Volunteer.

This blog follows my addictions to art, music, life and nature.

  1. Hi Sarah…..Keep painting and exploring, and talking to other artists!

Your work will grow and evolve…..

  2. woops….I hit the wrong button….Anyway what I was saying is to try something new every time you paint. Today I am going to try to paint on black, realistically using a lot of color…..will post in the next few days.

    Peace, Deb
